Camp runs Wednesday through Saturday, June 12-15, 2024
This year, Resident Camp will be June 12-15 at Camp Raven Knob. The deadline to pay a deposit is May 21st. The deposit fee is $50.00/scout. Please click here for a registration form. Please click here to pay your deposit.
We highly encourage all Scouts to participate in Resident Camp because it provides an excellent way to get ahead on earning achievements for each rank. Since the Scouts will advance in rank in late May, Resident Camp will be one of their first opportunities to start engaging in activities for the new rank. For example, Scouts who are currently Tigers will be able to start on Wolf activities and so on. Also, for Webelos, Resident Camp is a great place to earn key activity badges like Aquanaut and to gain some of the requirements for the Arrow of Light award.
Every adult attending camp needs to take the youth protection course and print the card at the end of the course. This is a brief on-line course. This link has more information about the course: Youth Protection Training.
Each scout attending must have a Medical Forms parts A & B to attend. Additionally, each scout must have an Outdoor Programs Parental Permission form and each scout must have a Swim Check. You can do the swim check in the lake at Raven Knob after you arrive or you can do them before you go to Raven Knob. Our pack is planning to set up swim checks in late May or early June. If you would prefer to arrange your own, here are the swim forms – form 1 and form 2. Please remember that the lifeguard that does the swim test must be BSA or Red Cross certified.
