Dear Parents,
We would like to extend a challenge to our scouts and parents. Scouting for Food and Scout Sunday are combining. The entire Mt Tabor congregation will be bringing food on Scout Sunday, February 4th. We would like to have at least 75% of our scouts attend service with us that morning. If we reach our 75% goal we will host a pizza party for the entire pack!! In addition, the den with the highest percentage of participation will also have ice cream!!
We realize everyone is busy, and has things to do on Sunday mornings, whether it’s to attend your own church service, or get errands completed. We are so grateful to have a wonderful pack that works hard for our boys as well as a supportive sponsor church. We would love to see everyone show up for this special day as a “thank you” and to show the congregation what a difference they are making in the lives of these growing boys.
We will also be bringing non-perishable food items to that service for the Scouting for Food Drive. So grab some non-expired cans of food and join us for worship early February 4th. We will meet in the Welcome Center at 8:30 am to attend the 9 am Higher Ground Service. Our scouts will be handing out Worship Guides and assisting with can collections. Please see one of us if you have any questions. Stop by the sign-up table to let us know you will be there.
Sincerely,
Hope Pirtle
