Leader’s Meeting This Tuesday and Upcoming Events

I hope everyone enjoyed the Bear Carnival last Tuesday.  The Bear den did a wonderful job and I would like to thank them for a fun filled night!
There will be a Cub Scout Leaders’ Meeting this coming Tuesday, 5/10/16 at 7:00 PM in the Youth Commons at Mt Tabor UMC, so there are no den meetings this Tuesday.
Next Week on 5/17/16, we will have our last den meetings and a pizza party from the Old Hickory Council. The council is giving us this party based on our excellent Friends of Scouting donations. Thank you all for donating to scouting. The pizza party will take place at the end of the den meetings in the family life center.
Sign ups: We are still signing up for the Spring Family Camping Trip (May 20th weekend) (deadline May 17th).  DASH Game & Sleepover (6/3) (deadline – May 24th) and the Yorktown Trip (November 4th weekend) (deadline – May 24th).
Exciting News:
Online registration is now available at http://www.oldhickorycouncil.org/ for Cub Scout Day Camp! It will be held July 11-15 at the Children’s Home (off Reynolda Road) from 8:30-4:30 Monday-Thursday and 8:30 Friday with a parent luncheon Friday afternoon.  You may pre-arrange early drop off and/or late pick-up.  Please visit the website above for more details.
