Good Afternoon Friends,
Kaleideum Sleepover 3/16/18
Dear Friends,
I hope everyone enjoyed the snow Monday and the Spring weather today! If you don’t like the weather, wait a minute, it will change! With the Kaleideum North Sleepover coming up, tomorrow night, (wow how time flies!) I thought I’d finally get the details to you. Kaleideum North’s address is: 400 W Hanes Mill Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27105.
Health Forms:
A signed health form (attached at the bottom) is necessary for all children, even those who are accompanied by a parent. Please make sure Pack 934 is completed on each form. Health forms should be turned in the night of the sleepover. A new Kaleideum Health Form needs to be completed each year. Please see Hope upon arrival to check in and hand off the form.
What to bring:
Each person will need at least a sleeping bag and pillow, and whatever else you feel is necessary to be comfortable. Some campers change into sleeping attire, while others wear something comfortable in which they can remain all night. Although the museum will remain dimly lit throughout the night, flashlight will come in handy. We will be serving a snack during the evening. If you do bring snack items they may only be eaten in our Food Works area. Vending machines are available for snack items and soft drinks if desired until one hour before “Lights Out”. Some people do get hot or cold, we suggest dressing in layers. Kaleideum North does not provide showers, cots, or air mattresses.
Suggested items to bring:
Prescription medicines if needed Flashlight
Hand towel/ Washcloth/ Toiletries Pillow/ Blanket/ Sleeping attire

Friday Evening:
The camp-in will consist of a scout workshop, snack time, museum exhibit free time, and a chance to view a planetarium show and a science program. An itinerary indicating your time for participating in each activity will be provided at check-in. Snacks consist of two pieces of pizza (cheese or pepperoni) with drink. Snack is not served until mid-evening so please make sure campers eat dinner before arriving. After 4:00pm our main phone number will be rolled into voicemail. If there is an emergency and someone from your pack/troop must be reached, our night number is 336/767-6569. This number will ring throughout the museum; please allow a few moments for someone to answer as we are all involved with camp-in activities.

Coffee will be available in our snack area beginning at 7:00am for those ADULTS needing to jump-start their morning. A continental breakfast will be provided for all participants; check your itinerary at check-in for exact times.
