Good morning scouts!  Our last pack meeting of 2021 is this evening in the Alspaugh Worship Center at 7pm!

Bears, Webelos 1, and Webelos 2 have the opportunity to take God and Family this January.  If you have not already earned your religious knot, this class is for you!  Please sign up here.  Class will start at 6pm on Tuesday, January 11 and run for 6 weeks.

Our Rockin’ Jump party is scheduled for December 7 at 7pm at the Rockin’ Jump on North Point Boulevard.  Please sign up here so that we can have a headcount and make sure everyone has their waiver signed prior to the party*.  If you would like to go ahead and fill out the waiver, it can be found here.  Remember, scouts are free and siblings can jump for $10!  We will be distributing Pinewood Derby cars at the end of the evening.  If you are unable to make the party, we will have a separate time to pick up your derby car.

* You can show up the day of the party without registering – it will just make things easier if you can fill out the waiver before hand.  Thanks!

Volunteers will be here until 6pm today, and from 9am to 3pm tomorrow (Saturday).

Hello families!  I apologize for the late nature of this email.  We’ve been trying to coordinate with the council for popcorn pickup.  Our popcorn order will be delivered to the church on Friday morning.  We need volunteers to help us count and sort our delivery.  This entails counting popcorn against the master list, and then sorting the popcorn in to individual scouts.   We will also need helpers on Saturday to make sure that each scout picks up his or her OWN popcorn order.

Popcorn needs to be picked up on Saturday, November 13, anytime from 9am to 3pm.  You DO NOT need to sign up for a slot to come and pick up your popcorn – just show up and we will help you find your scout’s order.

Good afternoon scouts! Tonight is our regularly-scheduled leaders meeting, and as such we have NO den meetings this evening. We will see you all back at the church next Tuesday!

This weekend is popcorn pickup (Saturday). We will have more information for you after tonight’s meeting.

Apologies for multiple notifications today!  Please remember to send your popcorn prize selection to your popcorn lieutenant kernel by Sunday, November 7.  The prizes are listed on your take-home order sheet.  Please pick the number that corresponds to the prize your scout would like (it has to be within their sales number, or an item in a lower prize category), and send your selection, along with the scout’s full name, in an email to your kernel.  

If you do not know who your lieutenant kernel is, please reach out to Michael Daniel.  

Good morning scouts!  A friendly reminder on this cold morning that tomorrow, November 6, is the annual Veteran’s Day Parade downtown.  Please meet at Foothills Brewery at 8:30am for a 9am parade start.  The parade organizer has asked us to carry the large 40’ x 20’ American and POW flags this year.  If we can get enough scouts to attend, we can do it!

Please remember that this is a Class A event.  You MUST wear your full class A uniform – Lions are excluded from his requirement.

For those of you watching your scout and not marching, the parade will end at Corpening Plaza.  Dress warm – the temps are in the mid-30s tomorrow morning.

Our last month of den meetings for 2021 starts tonight!  Your den leader should have reached out for your den’s start time and meeting place.  Please reach out if you have not yet heard from them.  Most dens will meet this evening in the Cub Scout rooms at 7pm.

New T-Shirts
Thanks to Mr. Wren of the Webelos den, we’ve been able to replenish our stock of Class B t-shirts.  These are our blue Pack 934 shirts.  We have MANY kid sizes, YS – YXL!  We’ve also ordered more adult sizes.  These shirts cost $10 and are an additional fundraiser for us.  

Veterans Day Parade
Our pack will be participating in the annual Veterans Day Parade.  This year we have been asked to participate in the FRONT of the parade!  If you are planning on attending, please meet at Foothills Brewery at 8:30am on Saturday morning, for a parade start time of 9:00am.  THIS IS A CLASS A EVENT.  Please wear your ENTIRE Class A uniform.  Sign ups are encouraged here: Veteran’s Day Parade Sign Up

Tonight is our monthly pack meeting!  Please meet at the church a few minutes early so that we can get started promptly at 7.  This is a Class A event – please wear your entire uniform!

Our popcorn fundraiser is officially over!  Mr. Daniel will be handing out prizes to the top sellers this evening. Thanks to everyone for your efforts!
