Your child is eligible to join cub scouts when they are in Kindergarten and anytime until 6th grade at which point they are considered a Scout. To join you will need to fill out an application and pay a fee. You will also need to fill out medical forms for your scout and the adult traveling with them as well as an Outdoor Permission Form for your scout. Additionally, you will need to fill out a Pack Volunteer Form.
In Cub Scouts the children have two uniforms, a Class A Uniform and a Class B Uniform. The Class A Uniform is worn for Den, Pack Meetings, some camping trips and some outings. It is also the uniform on which your child will display their badges, patches and pins. Please click here to find out more about the Class A Uniform. The Class B shirt is worn for outings and meetings when the children will be involved in outdoor activities like hiking or playing games. Click here to learn more about our Pack Class B shirts. Your child will also get Class B shirts by participating in activities through our council such as Parent/Child Camporee, Summer Resident Camp, and Cub Scout Day Camp.
You child will also need a den book for their first year, a neckerchief, a slide, and belt. These are also obtained at the scout shop referenced on the Class A Uniform Guideline page.

Our pack believes that financial obstacles should never stop a child who wants to participate in scouts. Please see Alicia if you are dealing with some financial issues and need help.
