Welcome home Pack 934 Resident Camp attendees!

All who attended had a wonderful time.  Definitely a little warm, but all in all the weather was fantastic for all of our activities!

We hope to see everyone at our next Summertime Adventure opportunity which happens to be this Sunday, 6/23 at 2pm at Jamison Park at Meadowlark Middle School.  We will gather at the playground area prior to the hike.  Scout leader Zbigniew Wozniak recommends bringing water shoes and a towel for a potential hunt for trolls!

Scouts can earn the Summertime Activity elective adventure for their respective rank by attending three Cub Scout activities over the summer.  This is the second event Pack 934 is offering and we will be sending out more upcoming opportunities shortly.

We hope everyone’s summer is going well and enjoying some downtime when you can take it!

Uniform Closet
Hello Pack 934!

We heard your requests and are starting a pack uniform closet. Here is how you can help! We need you to donate any uniform parts and pieces your scouts have outgrown. 

You can bring them to any of the hiking club events through out the summer 

You can drop off items with Tamara Melvin by sending her a text at 716-343-3494

Bring them to our back to school event in August (details will come) 

Thanks for supporting this effort. We would love to be able to make pack uniforms more sustainable and less costly for all scouts.

Tonight is our last regularly scheduled meeting for this school year.  All scouts are expected to wear their full Class A uniforms this evening; for our new scouts this is basically ‘graduation’ to the next scouting level and your scouts will receive their new books and rank materials.  Please arrive a little prior to 6:30 so that we can get started on time.  See you this evening!

Bears will plan to open the gym doors promptly at 6:30pm.  The Bears recommend wearing a white shirt for the evening festivities.  Unfortunately the weather forecast is not looking favorable, so we anticipate a crowded venue.  Got a friend interested in Scouts?  This would be an excellent night to bring them!”

To Scout Leaders- we will plan to run the event until 7:45pm to make sure everyone has a chance to visit all the stations.  At 7:45 we will close the event down.

It’s our last den meeting for this school year.  Our next two meetings are Bear Carnival (May 14) and Rank Advancement (May 21).  We will be having a cookout before tonights meeting.  Please see the below message from our Cubmaster:

Thank you to everyone who showed up and braved the weather with us this weekend. I know that warm shower and bed felt amazing when you got home. Since we were not able to have the cookout after the hike we will be cooking Tuesday before the den meetings. We will have hot dogs and hamburgers with chips watermelon and some other assorted drinks until it runs out. We will be accepting any donations if you feel so inclined. It this is free for all. Please come eat and enjoy. We will be setting up to start cooking around 5:30. If nothing else you don’t have to worry about dinner that night ;-). Thanks again for all the hard work and efforts we will see you on Tuesday!
