Welcome Back from our New Cubmaster

Hi everyone and welcome back to Pack 934. We are about to kick off our scouting year and I wanted to reach out and introduce myself. My name is Brent Motsinger. I will be the new Cubmaster for Pack 934 this year and I am looking forward to getting to know each and every one of you and your kids this year. My youngest son Sullivan is in the Bear Den and my oldest son Sawyer is in Troop 934 and spent three years with the pack previously. I did not grow up in scouting and was only introduced to it when my oldest became interested. I think that watching his joy and passion grow from all the things that scouting taught him is what inspired me to take a more active role. I am a Battalion Chief with Forsyth County Emergency Services and a paramedic by trade. I also served as a Navy hospital corpsman for 7 years prior to working in EMS. I love the outdoors and the way it brings families together. I am most passionate about being a dad and helping my boys grow up to be kind men who are good stewards of their community. I pride myself in having a servant leadership style and I will be relying quite heavily on the amazing leaders that we have in the pack. I have been impressed with the amazing parent involvement and leader knowledge that is available to us in Pack 934. To be a successful Pack it will take us all working together and giving of our time and energy to the one thing we all hold most important, our children. My contact info is mbmotsinger36@gmail.com and my cell is 843-271-2121. If you have any questions or if I can help in any way please feel free to reach out.

Please remember that cub scouts require parent involvement.  Parents are expected to stay with their cubs during meetings.  Please make sure that you are helping facilitate a conducive learning environment for all scouts.  Leaders have noticed an increase in distracting behavior and its imperative that parents remain present to assist with any issues so that leaders can focus on activities.  Thank you for your help.
